CIFLD 726   PRE-STUDENT TEACHING, ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE LEVELS   1 Units

Being involved in elementary and middle level classrooms enables students to apply theoretical understandings regarding positive discipline approaches for students and the adaptation of both curriculum and the environment to meet individual needs and abilities. In collaboration with the Office of Clinical Experience, students will be placed in a clinical experience at the elementary level and a clinical experience at the middle level. Reading instruction will be a focus within the pre-student teaching experiences for candidates seeking initial licensure. It is expected that reflective thinking will assist the student in accommodating her/his beliefs and knowledge to classroom realities.

CIFLD 727   STUDENT TEACHING, ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE LEVELS   4 Units

Being involved in an elementary or middle level classroom enables students to apply theoretical understandings regarding positive discipline approaches for students and the adaptation of both curriculum and the environment to meet individual needs and abilities. In collaboration with the Office of Clinical Experience, students will be placed in a clinical experience at the elementary or middle level. It is expected that reflective thinking will assist the student in accommodating her/his beliefs and knowledge of theory to classroom realities. This experience will assist students in showing evidence toward completing the Wisconsin Teacher Standards (WTS).

CIFLD 760   CLINICAL EXPERIENCE IN BUSINESS EDUCATION PROGRAMS ELEMENTARY   1 Units

In collaboration with the Office of Clinical Experience, students will complete a field experience at the elementary level. It is expected that reflective thinking will assist the student in accommodating their beliefs and knowledge of theory to classroom realities.

CIFLD 761   CLINICAL EXPERIENCE IN BUSINESS EDUCATION PROGRAMS MIDDLE LEVEL   1 Units

Being involved in a middle school classroom enables students to apply theoretical understandings regarding positive discipline approaches for students and the adaptation of both curriculum and the environment to meet individual needs and abilities. In collaboration with the Office of Clinical Experiences, students will complete a field experience at the middle school level. It is expected that reflective thinking will assist the student in accommodating her/his beliefs and knowledge of theory to the classroom.

CIFLD 762   CLINICAL EXPERIENCE IN BUSINESS EDUCATION PROGRAMS HIGH SCHOOL   6 Units

Being involved in a secondary school classroom enables students to apply theoretical understandings regarding positive discipline approaches for students and the adaptation of both curriculum and the environment to meet individual needs and abilities. In collaboration with the Office of Clinical Experiences, students will be placed in clinical experiences at the secondary level. It is expected that reflective thinking will assist the student in accommodating her/his beliefs and knowledge of theory to classroom realities.

CIFLD 793   PRACTICUM   Repeatable   1-8 Units

Professional laboratory experience is provided under the guidance of carefully selected qualified cooperating teachers in elementary, middle, and secondary school classrooms. Repeatable for a maximum of 8 credits for majors.
